East Rounton Village Hall
Commissioned by Sir Hugh Bell the iron master in 1906 the village hall was designed by George Jack who worked with Philip Webb who was responsible for the design of Rounton Grange and the model village of East Rounton. It had coal fired central heating and electricity long before the national grid and was used as a hospital during World War I.
There are six adjacent cottages in the village square as well as the main hall. It is used regularly for village events and managed by a charitable company.
