WELBURY VILLAGE HALL
The current hall was opened on 8th October 1988, replacing the previous hall. The land it stands on is owned by Welbury Parish Council and the building by Welbury Village Hall Committee. The hall consists of a main hall and an annexe, separated by concertina doors so that it can be used as two separate areas or joined together . It can hold up to 150 people for a party or other event.100 people can fit in comfortably in the hall theatre-style, or up to 80 at tables. The hall has recently been re-decorated with new curtains and has safety flooring in the kitchen and toilet areas. It has sufficient chairs, crockery and cutlery to cater for at least 100 people and is available to rent at reasonable rates. It is fully insured and heating is included in the rent. Tables, chairs and equipment can be hired separately.

EAST ROUNTON VILLAGE HALL
East Rounton village hall was built by Sir Hugh Bell in 1906 as purpose built village hall and a part of his model village. The hall is rented from the Bell estate and managed by Rountons Village Hall committee. It is a two storey building with a main hall downstairs to seat 100 people or 80 at tables. It has chairs, crockery and cutlery to cater for about 100 people and is available for hire at reasonable rates.

APPLETON WISKE TENNIS CLUB
There are two tennis courts at the Appleton Wiske recreation ground, which are available to Appleton Wiske Tennis Club members (membership being open to residents of Appleton Wiske and the surrounding area). Occasional use of the courts is also permitted, on payment of a court fee to any committee member. Advance booking of courts can be made and a booking chart is located inside the courts. .Keys to the courts are available to members (for their own use only) upon receipt of a small deposit. .Alternatively, anyone wishing to use the courts may borrow a key from any committee member. Membership fees are very modest and currently, for the 2004 season, are:- Family membership £34.00 All ages Adult membership (individuals) £16.00 18 and over on 18! May JuniorlStudent membership (individuals) £7.00 Under 18 on 18! May The season usually starts at the beginning of May and continues into October, if weather permits! Informal tournaments are often held on Bank Holiday Mondays during the season. Each week, there are club sessions when members of all abilities can turn up and get a game: - .Ladies' night is on Wednesday (and there is also a ladies' session on Thursday morning) .Adults' night (mixed) is on Friday For a membership application form or further information, please contact:-
